Designed using only natural colours from rice powder, charcoal, turmeric and dried green leaves, it takes roughly 5-6 hours to complete. Lord Shiva is shown as a hunter in this pictorial representation as Kiratha Shiva who fights with Arjuna over a deab boar. The evening concludes with 'Nanthunni Paattu' which is a praise of Lord Shiva. There are very few family on the banks of the
river that continues this tradition of rituals and singing.
