Kerala:
Fringed by coconut groves on its blessed beaches and tucked away in southwestern India is one of the world's most pampered tourist destination called Kerala. It has Arabian sea on the west and Western Ghats (mountains) towering up to 2,700 meters on the east.
English is spoken by most of its 30 million plus population which includes Hindus, Christians and Muslims. It is the one of the few Indian states to have 100 percent literacy and highest life expectancy rates.
Summer starts in mid- February and lasts until May, a peak of 33 degree Celsius. The first rains hit the Indian subcontinent on June first in Kerala and lasts through to September. In winter (October to January) it is a cool 22 degrees. Linked by 44 rivers, Kerala is the place where God takes a vacation. It has hill stations, exotic wildlife, backwaters, waterfalls, coffee and tea plantations, rare festivals, prehistoric temples and caves in a 38,863 square kilometer area. The sea kisses the state on its western side throughout.

Rajasthan

Sikkim:

Karnataka:
South of India, and originally named State of Mysore, it was renamed Karnataka in 1973. Karnataka is derived from the Kannada words karu and nadu, meaning elevated land. Karunadu may also be read as Karu (black) and nadu (region), as a reference to the black cotton soil found in the Bayaluseeme region of Karnataka. During the British Raj, the word Carnatic or Karnatak was used to describe this part of the region in general.

Situated in the state of Himachal Pradesh along the Western Himalayas, Spiti Valley has Ladakh in its Northern side and Tibet to its east.
