General information

The small Himalayan state of Sikkim became India's 22nd state in the 70s. Sikkim is bordered by Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan and West Bengal in India. One of most eco sensitive regions of the world, majority of this small state is forested. Almost 30% of these forested areas come under the Protected Area network. From rare varieties of Orchids to more than fifty percent of India's butterfly population, Sikkim is abode to natural splendour unseen in many parts of the world. From sprawling green paddy fields in the terraced mountains to Tibetan Buddhist monasteries perched top of mountains, Sikkim is a sight to behold, and a sense to experience.

Like the fluttering prayer flags and numerous waterfalls in the back ground of lush green surrounding the place connects you with peace and serenity!
