Trekking
Sikkim is a trekker's paradise. Less explored and un-spoilt. We take utmost care in terms of choosing the trekking trails, carrying capacity of the sensitive region, benefits to the local communities who own and manage our treks. The treks are managed in such a way that we don't create any negative impacts for the environment. Instead we ensure that the trek increases social and economic benefits to the local area including the community living there while increasing the awareness of conservation issues amongst the locals as well as our guests.
The beautiful and diverse landscape makes Sikkim an ideal place for trekking. Depending on what you chose, the trek route covers lush mountains with Rhododendron blossoms and orchids, wildlife sanctuaries, village trails, waterfall trails and heritage trails including Buddhist monasteries.
Irrespective of your experience in mountain treks, our trackers and guides will help you organise your treks in a way that is enjoyable. Ranging from one day treks in Maenam wildlife sanctuary to multiple day treks through Rhododendron forests and giant Magnolias, the options are several. Though there are several trek routes that range between the altitude of less than 3000 m and wouldn't need any prior experiences, we would expect acclimatization for those trekking trails above this altitude.
Professional and knowledgeable local interpreters will accompany you in the treks and you will realise that not many can match them in terms of their knowledge about the nature and general environment. Whether it is a cultural trail or nature trail that you are looking for, our team will unravel the mystery that is Sikkim. Through elusive leopards to Red Panda, from Yeti to guardian deity of Kanchendzonga, our trackers will help you explore a land in a way that you wouldn't have explored earlier. In a way, that is unmatched by no anyone else.
