Tour Description
This four hour excursion focuses on the future of the city through the lens of its townships., through a selection of major sites and projects of transformation. From the Athlone Power Station, buffering Langa township, to the redevelopment of our train stations and the Manenberg Waterfront, this journey looks at how the city was formed, and how it is being shaped into the future. It asks and attempts to answer the question - where are we headed in Cape Town? And how can the townships develop into fully established and integrated parts of the city?
