Trekking is one of the best ways of seeing the real Nepal with extremely rewarding cultural and ecological experiences. This you get to do off the scenic town of Pokhara in the Annapurna Circuit. The Poon hill trek is described to be one of the best tours in the world due to its incredibly friendly Nepali people with sightseeing of the Annapurna and other Himalayan ranges. After a brief rest in the lake town of Pokhara, you go on to the jungles of Chitwan for an enchanting three days jungle safari to view the one horned rhino and the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger, which could be spotted very rarely. After flying back to Kathmandu, we take you to a two day rafting tour into one of the best rivers in the world for rafting, the Bhote Koshi, which comes from Tibet on Class IV to V rapids, with an overnight in an enchanting resort called the Bhote Koshi, which is situated just 16 kms from the Tibet border and besides the thundering Bhote Koshi. The grand finale of the Nepal tour will be a mountain flight to see the entire range from Langtang to Everest in a one hour flight close to the Himalayan range. Itinerary: Day 1 Arrive Kathmandu : Arrival at Airport. Our guide will receive you and transfer to hotel. Attend tour briefing and enjoy welcome dinner.
Overnight in Kathmandu Hotel. Day 2 Kathmandu: After breakfast, go to see some of the rich cultural heritage of Kathmandu.
Overnight in hotel/guesthouse Day 3 Pokhara: Early morning drive to Pokhara (210kms/3.5hrs). Pokhara is situated in the northwestern corner of the Pokhara Valley. The Seti River and its tributaries have dug impressive canyons into the valley floor, which are only visible from higher viewpoints or from the air. In no other place do mountains rise so quickly. The Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu ranges, each with peaks over 8000 m, can be seen from Pokhara and there is a lake named Phewa Lake, three caves (Mahendra, Bat and Gupteswor) and an impressive falls(Patale Chhango or Devi's Fall) where the water from the Phewa Lake thunders into a hole and disappears. Due to this sharp rise in altitude the area of Pokhara has one of the highest precipitation rates of the country (over 4000 mm/year). Laze around the lake and get ourselves ready for the tour. Overnight in Pokhara. Day 4 Pokhara - Nayapul : Drive Pokhara to Nayapul. Climb up to the main village located on the ridge, Birethanti, Ghandrung (is the largest Gurung village or village of a renowned Gurkha soldier). Visit to the ACAP Museum.

Day 5 Ghorepani: Today trek about 6-8 hours to 2800 meters. Ascend through forests and open landscape to arrive at a small village. Continue to climb steadily amidst chirping birds on treetops to arrive at Banthanti, located near a river. Trekking through the rhododendron forests along the ridge line, arrive at a clearing to get views of the Annapurna South and the Ghorepani village far down below. An interesting walk: pass through this densely populated village of a different ethnic community of Magars.
Overnight in Homestay. Day 6 Ghorepani - Tirkhedhunga: The one and half hour trek to Poon Hill (10,200 ft) to view a magnificent sunrise over the Annapurna Range. Shortly afterwards return back to Ghorepani. Trek descent which gradually intensifies as you descend steeply to the river. Then there is more descending through a trail of gurgling streams and forests till our arrival at the Magar settlement of Ulleri.Narrow lanes and then there is a steep knee wobbling descent on stone steps all the way down to the bridge on the Bhurgundi Khola which is dreaded by all trekkers. The trail becomes more hazardous with the mule train also vying to get in front (ascending and descending) and sometimes lead to traffic jams. A short climb to Tirkhedhunga.

Day 7 Pokhara: Descend gently down to the banks of the Bhurgundi river and follow the trail along the river to arrive at Birethanti. Birethanti located on the confluence of the Bhurgundi and Modi Khola is a booming village with rows of tea houses and also boasts of a bank. Walk to Nayapul. Drive back to Pokhara.
Overnight in Homestay. Day 8 Chitwan National Park: Early morning transfer by bus to Chitwan (165kms/3hrs). Upon arrival at the jungle lodge, the managers and naturalists will brief you on the activities they have planned. After lunch you will start your jungle activities such as elephant safaris for 2 hours deep into the jungle to experience the wildlife, flora and fauna of the park at close quarters or a bird watching tour will be organized.

Day 9 Chitwan National Park: Wake up call will be at 5:30 AM. Tea / Coffee will be served and there will be either an elephant safari or a nature walk. After breakfast, go for canoe ride or a bird watching tour. After Lunch an elephant breeding at the Elephant stables where naturalists will give a lecture on the Asian Elephant. Here you will have an opportunity to witness and participate in the bathing of an elephant.
Dinner and overnight at the jungle lodge. Day 10 Chitwan - Kathmandu: Early morning transfer to the Bhote Koshi with Nepal's top rafting agency for a three hour practice on the lower section of the Bhote Koshi which has III and III+ rapids. After that we transfer you to the resort just near the Tibet border for the evening.
Overnight in a resort. Day 11 Kathmandu : Early morning transfer to the Bhote Koshi with Nepal's top rafting agency for a three hour practice on the lower section of the Bhote Koshi which has III and III+ rapids. After that we transfer you to the resort just near the Tibet border for the evening.

Day 12 Kathmandu: Early morning mountain flight to see the Himalayan splendor and wrap up the tour. Sumptuous farewell dinner in the evening.
