Antrim Villa is an old Victorian house built at the end of the 18th Century. This quaint hide away is situated in Green Point and is minutes away from the V & A Waterfront, the City Center, Camps Bay, Table Mountain and many other tourist attractions. It is a mere 5 minute walking distance from the Sea Point beach promenade which is very popular with locals for an early morning jog or sundowner stroll and also the Virgin Active gym for more serious workouts. The house is also within walking distance of the new World Cup Stadium. Each room has an en suite bathroom and is tastefully decorated with Scandinavian simplicity in mind and added African touches. All bedrooms are very spacious with extra length beds, that may be semi detached on request.
We only use 100% cotton sheets for our beds. All rooms have high ceilings and a relaxing atmosphere. We provide safe off street parking and security.
The sun drenched, yet well secluded tropical bamboo garden and swimming pool are available for the convenience of our guests.
We have two room types; Standard and Luxury. Each room contains a heater & fan, hairdryer & European plug, gowns, and a small safe.
Our Luxury rooms offer some special features such as iPod docking stations and small fridges. We offer free internet access at our in house computer desk or for a small fee you can have access to our wireless network using your own laptop. Guests will find a television with South African channels, and a small library in the communial lounge which they are welcome to use.
Our large, healthy Scandinavian breakfast buffet is prepared fresh daily and served from 07h30 -09h30 on our terrace or in the lounge. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and fruit are complimentary and can be enjoyed by guests at all times. A deliciously healthy non alcoholic welcome drink is served to guests upon arrival.
Airport transfers, taxis, car rentals, safaris, tours and dinner reservations can be arranged by us. Our staff is always up-to-date with what’s happening in and around Cape Town and are available to assist you with your leisure arrangements. Be advised that Cape Town is one of the most popular tourist destinations in South Africa and therefore it is highly recommended that you make reservations for the activities you are interested in prior to arrival to avoid disappointment.
